The Certified Internet Webmaster’s CIW Security Analyst is a mid to high level, vendor-neutral, certification for IT professionals who “configure, manage and deploy e-business solutions servers; and implement e-business and network security solutions.” The CIW Security Analyst is a great way to leverage a networking administration certification.
The CIW Security Analyst certification emerged in 2001. In terms of recertification, “CIW exams may be retired for various reasons, including release of a new exam series, changes to related certification programs, or determination by the IT industry that a job role has become obsolete. Once retired, the exam is no longer available at testing centers, although in some cases candidates can still apply credit for a retired exam version toward a multi-exam certification. |
