VALUE & BENEFITS

The Advanced Placement Program gives students an opportunity to take college-level courses and exams while they are still in high school. Through this, they may earn credit, advanced placement, or both for college. Thirty-three courses in 19 subject areas are offered worldwide by approximately 13,000 high schools. There are many benefits for students who participate in AP-studying interesting and challenging topics, discovering new interests, and getting a head start on their future.

AP can change your life. Through college-level AP courses, you enter a universe of knowledge that might otherwise remain unexplored in high school; through AP Exams, you have the opportunity to earn credit or advanced standing at most of the nation's colleges and universities.
