VALUE & BENEFITS
The purpose of the CHSPE is to give the student an opportunity to demonstrate proficiency in the basic skills taught in California public schools, as defined by the average performance of second semester seniors in those schools. It is not the purpose of the CHSPE to establish a profile of strengths and weaknesses of the student and the actual test instrument was not designed to do so.
