Exam Specifications

The NREMT exams process includes a written test and practical stations. The EMT-B and EMT-I written tests contain 150 multiple-choice questions on airway and breathing, cardiology, trauma, medical, obstetrics and pediatrics, and operations.
 


There are 200 questions on the EMT-P test. Questions are not divided into nice categories. They are completely random. Questions can ask content or be based on a mini-case.
