CLAST is designed to test the communication and computation skills that are judged by college faculty to be associated generally with successful performance through the baccalaureate level.
Students must register for the CLAST at an institution that can determine their eligibility to take the test. Normally, this will be the institution in which students are enrolled when they take the test. Registration must be completed by the established deadline; late registration, stand-by registration, or walk-ins to the test are not permitted.
Registration procedures may vary by campus but Campus Testing Departments, Registrar’s Offices and Advisement Offices are able to assist students.
